But MIKE has given me the extra strength to take my weight loss to a,different level. I've gone from 315 pounds to 170 with no surgery. I will be forever grateful,to him. LOVED this book! Such a great read! Couldn't put the book down from start to finish an wanted to scream at the end! Not wanting it to end!! So ready to read the next one to see what happens with Reece an Zane!! Easily a book that you can relate to the characters an see parts of yourself. Both in weaknesses an in strengths. Can't wait to see more from Alexis!! Fantastic job as a new author!!
For Alexis Alexander's first novel she did such a wonderful job. The story flowed well and the characters were well written that I read it one day. I can not wait to read the next book cause it left me wanting more and with so many questions. I would recommend that if you haven't read it that you go get it right away.
First off Alexis Alexander this is a really great book!!! Second It was so captivating that it drew me in, I couldn't put it down.. Third Reece Miller went through a lot of stuff and it made me feel bad for her, but I was glad when she met Zane. He made her feel different from her tough girl act.. She felt safe with him. So if you enjoy Reading this is a really great book and I would recommend this book to anybody!!!!!
I just finished Strong Enough by Alexis Alexander. I loved it! As I read this book I had a wide range of emotions going through me. She wrote in a way that kept me wanting to read more (forget about doing anything else is how I felt). Reece has reasons for why she has built up walls in her life. After going through several of the most traumatic life experiences a person could go through she doesn't show her emotion or feeling to anyone until she finds a new trainer and then she only allows him to parts of her. Sterling her first trainer blew it when he showed his not so nice side. Then there is Jon and Zane. What ever is Reece going with Jon, will she ever let her walls down with him? And then I am wondering why Zane just walks away when he feels the same way she does and he wants to protect her and she has let her walls down with him. Will Reece get an explanation from Zane? I guess we will have to wait to see in the next book.
Wow is not a strong enough word for this book. I don't think there is a word out there that is strong enough. I was completely captivated by the story line and I hope there is more to come. The author has held my attention through out the whole book. The title says it all Strong Enough and I feel it in every way when you read the words of Reece and Zane. Reece has been through something very traumatic and she is showing she is strong enough to male it through it. This is a must read and I plan to read it again and tell my family and friends to read it too.
Loved this book, Reece Miller story starts out with her being a 17 year old who is full of life, spark and has big dreams for her future. Something tragic happens to her one night that changes who she is. Reece becomes withdrawn and builds this wall around herself.
Zane Bauer comes to Reece's rescue more than once and he stirs feelings in her that she hasn't had in a long time, there is also something about Zane that is familiar but she's not sure what that is.
There are moments in this book that made me cry, you can't help it reading Reece's story. Your heart breaks for her. Zane Bauer is such a great character, and you want so desperately for him to be able to break down Reece's walls. When I got to the last page, I was already thinking how much longer do I have to wait for the rest of this story, it can't come fast enough!
I have wanted to read this since I heard about it and finally got around to it. I also must admit that the muse/cover model did catch my attention also but the story is really what I wanted to know more about. It was emotional that's for sure and when you say roller coaster of emotions this book could be the definition of it with the happy, scared, sad, loved, and all over again. Reece was easy for me to relate to and although at times I wanted to slap her because she would not make up her mind about who she wanted but I have known people like that so it kind of made her more real. Reece has had so much pain in her life you just hoped for her happy ending and she kept pushing it away. Brent was a perfect "best friend" if she would just open up to him I think they could have a great friendship. I don't know what it is about the Jon character but I just didn't like him but he gave Reece an excuse to keep pulling away from Zane. Awww Zane! Now he is a man I could fall in love with (if I weren't married) he is a great book boyfriend. Sweet, sexy, charming, GORGEOUS and from the description of his southern voice I was melting in a puddle on the floor for him. I was rooting for him from the second he walked in to the story. The way Alexis described the characters and their feelings was great and really pulled you in BUT.....(yep but) there were a lot of mistakes which took away from it. I hate when you have a great book but then so many mistakes it takes away from the flow of reading. I can over look little things here and there because no one is perfect but when you have whole paragraphs that repeat and several sentences that repeat it makes it a little hard and sometimes confusing to read. I really did love the story and my only advice would be to get a beta reader or someone to do a read through to help find mistakes because without the mistakes this would be amazing and I would have given the 5th star. I can't wait to see what happens next.
